people in GH is very helpful, room is very cleanly,so quite.About 5 minus. walking to old city. And many thanks for Pearl ,the massage shop and food shop that she recommanded is good too.
it's much better if the room price can be reduced :)
The hotel was located close to the center of the city, but there was still quiet in night time.
The Hotel did not have any menu , the swimming pool was really small and the water was green when we was there.
Basically a good budget hotel with clean room and friendly staff especially the male staff at the reception, name Teung, he is very friendly and helpful.Hotel provide motorcycle rental for 200baht a day so no problem travelling to everywhere and free internet too. Decent breakfast with ABF or thai food, enjoy my stay in this hotel. ^_^
lots of mosquitos at night and roosters opposite the hotel making so much noise early in the morning.
Staff in hotel is very nice people, Pearl - the manager is very helpful. Rooms are quite nice and clean.
Instant coffee for breakfast, no babycots, no hairdrier.
Room is clean and breakfast is excellent for money. TV program is excellent, wide range of choices and in face, we extended our stay here. Laundry shop is right next to the hotel. We will stay back at this hotel for future trips.
The location is about 1500 m away from night bazaar, we can get there by foot with 5yo and 7yo without issue. Or you can pay a little extra to get the Tuk-tuk. If you have toddler, and willing to pay an extra dollar, there shouldn't be an issue at all.
Excellent service. Good english skills. Very trusting. Great internet access. Even PC provided.
Curtains need to be darker to keep out the lights
The breakfast is excellent. Have the omelet! X
No staff at the reception after 11pm if u need them.
The Castle in Chiang Mai is a very good place to stay.Within walking distance to the old city. Nice rooms, clean and quiet. Hotelmanagement is like a "Pearl" ! Friendly, helpful and aiming to make your stay perfect!
the staff is very kind and breakfast is good as well. location is quite convenient. 10 mins walk to night bazzar and 10 mins walk to the old city.
sound insulation need to be improved and it's a litttle bit difficult for the newcome to find
Very nice and dedicated staff, very good service
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They called a tuk tuk for us when we went out.
They only give 2 free water on the first day. The breakfast was a set menu and you had to order the night before. A little far from town, about a 20 minute walk. Lots of dogs barking in the early hours of the morning. Swimming pool VERY SMALL. Very small bed.
Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. Sandwich is yummy! For coffee, I prefer the fresh coffee than the instant. Room is cleanliness.
Room too small, bed post too dangerous as it is pointy edge
Fantastic Staff, always willing to help. Complimentary breakfast was excellent with many choices on offer. Room was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard. Arranged all excursions through the hotel without any problems. Withing walking distance of old city, night bazzar and most of the sights. Will stay hear again next time I'm in Chiang Mai.
Restaurant only served breakfast but there we're pleanty of places nearby to get food.
The location of the hotel is very good. Walking distance to the Saturday night market and short tuktuk ride to the night bazaar (40/ 50 baht). The rooms were spacious and clean with clean towels provided everyday. The breakfast was very good and one has a choice of different meals every monring. The staff were amazing and able to organise tours, taxis and events on request. They also provided good advice on which tours were worth the money. Pearl, Ben, Gong and Pearl's Mother were truly amazing. Made us feel at home and we were very sad to leave. Will definitely return!
